Well, I would have added to pics of the pistol I'm trying to ID if I could have realized how. So that's my question. How could I add an image to the ID help request below? Thanks much, A02
Hello folks, I recently acquired what seems to be a vintage asian pistol and I have NO idea what is is (in regard to make, model, manufacturer etc.) or where or when it's from. I'd really appreciate any help you folks here with knowledge and experience can give me. I think this is a pretty cool gun. I was never into older firearms but I'm kinda feeling the bug after looking at all the other vintage models you've all posted. Any info, links, or recommendations to help ID this pistol would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much, see ya around the forum A02

It's a pretty rough example of a Japanese Type 94 Nambu pistol made in March of 1944 (1944=19; March = 3). Check out Terri's website. She has a Type 94 pistol dated 19.3 with serial number 50219 which is 139 after yours. members.shaw.ca/tju/t94gallery.htm
